Therapeutic & Wellbeing Engagement

Online and face-to-face gaming therapy; 1-2-1 and group gym and fitness sessions; health and nutrition workshops; mindfulness and wellbeing sessions; self-esteem and gardening workshops.

The community benefits by

  • Reduces anxiety, stress, trauma and mental-health symptoms in vulnerable young people
  • Improves physical health, emotional regulation, self-esteem and overall wellbeing
  • Uses gaming, fitness and nutrition as therapeutic tools to engage those disengaged from traditional services
  • Provides calming, grounding activities for young people affected by trauma, ADHD, ASD and anxiety
  • Reduces long-term pressure on NHS and mental-health services

Digital Skills, Creative Arts & Education

Gaming level design and coding workshops facilitated by industry experts; music workshops covering DJ-ing, mixing, music production and songwriting; creative drama workshops in schools; creative maths and English support.

  • Develops coding, digital literacy, creative and technical skills
  • Creates real career pathways into the gaming, technology, music and creative industries
  • Improves school engagement, attendance and relationships with teachers and peers
  • Reduces school exclusions and the community costs of disengagement

Outreach, Mentoring & Violence Reduction

Community walk-arounds and street outreach; 1-2-1 and group mentoring; girls group; sexual health and relationships workshops; community clean-ups; vocational opportunities with local businesses providing work experience and apprenticeships.

Employment, Life Skills & Financial Inclusion

Employment and employability workshops covering CV writing, interview techniques and job hunting; financial literacy and budgeting workshops; health and nutrition workshops supporting independent living; an elderly support programme.

  • Reduces youth unemployment and creates grassroots pathways into employment, training and entrepreneurship
  • Develops practical life skills essential for independent living and adulthood
  • Builds confidence, communication and workplace readiness

Residential Care & Early Intervention Support

High-quality residential care for vulnerable children and young people; early intervention support across all programme areas; parenting and family support; community outreach to those not known to services.

  • Reduces placement breakdown and the trauma associated with instability in care
  • Delivers early intervention that prevents challenges from escalating into crisis

The Therapeutic Model

A home built around a learning hub.

Within the planned residential home we will embed a learning hub and in-house activities that make education, creative development and life skills part of everyday life — so that young people leave our care ready, confident and equipped for independent living.
